Sweet green smoothie with spinach, banana, dates, tahini and more!
It’s been a minute since I made a smoothie. In the summer months I usually crave juices.
But after a day of non-stop movement, I was itching for something nutritious, delicious and filling.
And this sweet green smoothie is exactly that.
It’s got greens, healthy fats to help you absorb the nutrients from those greens, some protein, and unlike so many other fruit-filled green smoothies, it’s low in sugar. It’s also very easy to digest and won’t cause bloating - making it the perfect morning treat, mid-day pick me up, or post-workout shake.
And as always, it is made with 100% plant-based whole foods.

Sweet green smoothie
Yields: 1 serving
Ingredients:
2 handfuls of spinach
1 tbsp raw tahini
1/2 of a banana
1 pitted date
2 tbsp hemp seeds
1 cup of ice
1 cup unsweetened plant-based milk
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a high speed blender; blend on high until completely smooth. Enjoy right away, or store in the fridge for later (but only up to 24 hours).
